PDF is an acronym for "Portable Document Format." PDF is a file format created by Adobe that lets you view and print a file exactly as the author designed it, without needing to have the same application or fonts used to create the file.
With the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can view and print the PDF file, which looks and prints exactly as you saw it on your own computer. No additional applications, fonts, or files are needed.
Adobe Acrobat Tips
The following two items should help solve any potential problems you might have viewing the Pre-Season Report and Weekly Report via Adobe Acrobat.
Bookmarks
One of the neatest things in Acrobat is the use of Bookmarks. If you push the F5 button you will see Bookmarks pop up on the left side of the screen. You can click on any of these links and they will take you to that portion of the report. We recommend you utilize the Bookmarks.
Smooth Text
When viewing the reports you might think that the text is blurry. To resolve this issue you should do the following:
- Go File
- Preferences
- General
- Uncheck Smooth Text and Images
Once this has been unchecked the text should be much crisper.
Download
Some people have Adobe Acrobat integrated into their web browser. When the user goes to click on the file and download it the file tries to load in the browser. To get around this do the following:
- Right-click on link to Adobe Acrobat file
- You will be prompted where to save. Make sure you write this down.
- File will download and you can locate on your system.
